Zhao Mengge and Her Oil Paintings
With strong love of painting and extraordinary talent, Zhao started strict traditional academic arts education in her young age and absorbed extensive essences of various arts. Her accomplishments in music, literature and movie set a good foundation for her future art style. She was granted “Cishan” scholarship of Taiwan and several of her paintings were entered in the Paintings Collection of Excellent Students of Affiliated High School of Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA).
After her graduation from Affiliated High School of CAFA, she was enrolled in Oil Painting Department of CAFA with excellent results.
1998 Founded Qumulangma Painting Arts Communication Center, training a lot of arts talents who are presently around the country.
1999 Started her art creation journey across most parts of China, from Xi'an (ancient capital) famous for terracotta soldiers and horses to Shanxi Province renowned for mural at Yongle Palace, from the Silk Road to Dunhuang well-known for its frescoes, from Lhasa noted for Johhang Temple Monastery with solemn horn sound to Everest Mountain witnessing old people crawling forward for pilgrimage at its foot, from the sea close to the end of the sky with enchanting blue to Xishuangbanna with amazing beauty……
2002 Held her individual painting show, Dreamlike Heaven-Zhao Mengge's Oil Paintings. These works were published in Chinese Fine Arts in January 2003, were showcased at Woman World-Painting Show for Contemporary Female Artist, 10th Chinese Arts Expo, art show Life, Nature and Environment, united works show for Chinese excellent avante-garde artists (itinerant exhibition in Spain, Germany, Switzerland and other countries), where her painting-Morning Dew was collected by Manuel Chabrera Art Foundation), 1st Village Girl Impression Show and 1st Youth Fine Arts Show.
Part of her works was showcased at Sentiment to the West -International Arts Show, her painting-Suffusion of Green is entered in the painting album Sentiment to the West-International Show of Selected Works of Calligraphy, Painting and Photograph. In Beijing International Art Expo, her works was entered in historical documentary publication Great Revival-Man of Men Volume). Zhao has been featured in the magazines such as THAT`S BEIJING and Viewpoint of China. Many of her paintings are collected by domestic and foreign arts agencies and individuals.
Rich and colorful experiences with frustration contribute to the enchantment of her works, like mellow wine, leaving lasting and pleasant impression. Her art merges the eastern and western artistic essences both in her technique or her paintings and deliver oriental charm and artistic conception. She doesn't search for a pure beauty in form, but represent anxiety for love and freedom of women who live in reality with her heart and sentiment. Either the self dancing alone, fairy lady wandering in the garden or narcissistic goddess twiddling with her beautiful hair proclaims an oriental beauty with a little bit of sadness, drifting between the illusion and reality.

Like indistinct dream, romantic poem, pleasing sounds of nature and flashing elf.
Virgin, beautiful and tender women, like other-worldly fairy maiden, feature special grief and sadness under the survival pressure of the reality. They are clever and persevering with a broken heart. Indifference and tribulation can not keep back the longing for love and erupting passion.
The solitude character, frustrations and persistent pursuit lead her art to a florid road merging eastern and western feature. Her paintings embody not only western color and romantic but also oriental sanctity and fancy. Human and beauty, color and composition, actuality and ridiculousness, connotation and exaggeration, are all in harmony.
